Roam is a specialty retailer of designer interior accessories and furniture from around the globe. In honing their craft, they have become one of the "go-to" destinations for creative and modern accessories in the Twin Cities. Urban Anthology represented Roam in the opening of their flagship store in Minneapolis.
Greenleaf
Minneapolis, MN
Greenleaf is located in the heart of Minneapolis' Whittier neighborhood. The site is named after John Greenleaf Whittier, an American poet and editor dedicated to social causes and reform. The mixed use urban development consists of 63 apartments and 8,700 square feet of ground floor commercial space. Urban Anthology represented the property owner in the leasing of the retail space to World Street Kitchen, Regla de Oro Gallery and Pharmacie Home.
Golden Leaf Tobacco

Developed in 2013, the Golden Leaf building was nominated by the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Business Journal as one of the best real estate developments of the year.
The historic building housed one of the most notable hobby stores in the City of Minneapolis, and its redevelopment uncovered wood beam architecture that had been covered for decades. The careful attention given to the building details was enhanced using the nationally recognized local architectural firm Alchemy Architects.
Golden Leaf is an award wining cigar lounge. Founded over 30 years ago, it is one of the oldest existing cigar stores in the City of Minneapolis.
Spill The Wine

Columbia Sportswear
Minneapolis, MN
Developed in 2009, the Columbia Sportswear building was nominated by the Minneapolis Saint Paul Business Journal as one of the best real estate developments of the year.
Incorporating the first green roof garden in a commercial building in Uptown Minneapolis, it set an example for future retail development in the area.
The building was designed and built for the internationally recognized outdoor apparel retailer Columbia Sportswear, as their first store in the Midwest and their fourth flagship retail store in the nation.
Starbucks
Saint Louis Park, MN
Developed in 2005, the Starbucks Building is a unique and creative adaptive use of a former bank building.
The property sits on the primary gateway point to Minneapolis and the Western Suburbs. While located on a heavily trafficked intersection, it still embraces and caters to its adjacent Fern Hill neighborhood.
The building is the first freestanding drive through coffee shop in the City of Saint Louis Park.

Grand Ole Creamery
Minneapolis, MN
Developed in 2007, the Grand Ole Creamery building is the sister property to the adjacent Caribou Coffee building. The property sits on the gateway intersection to the spectacular recreation areas of Lake Nokomis and the Minnehaha Falls Parkway.
The building was formerly a shuttered Dairy Queen with significant structural and contamination issues. To add to its complications the building fell within an intensive FEMA flood zone, with newly stringent regulations in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Facing these challenges the building was demolished to its bare structure and then rebuilt for the Minneapolis home of the award winning Grand Ole Creamery.
Caribou Coffee
Minneapolis, MN
Developed in 2007, the Caribou Coffee building sits on the gateway intersection to the spectacular recreation areas of Lake Nokomis and the Minnehaha Falls Parkway.
The building was formerly a shuttered gas station and mechanical garage. The property had significant contamination issues, which required lengthy mitigation with the state pollution control agency. To add to its complications the building fell within an intensive FEMA flood zone, with newly stringent regulations in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Facing these challenges, Urban Anthology worked closely with Caribou Coffee Company to construct the first drive through coffee shop in the City of Minneapolis.
Abitare
Minneapolis, MN
Developed in 2006, the Abitare Building is the sister building to Hi Fi Sound and a former cold storage building for a fruit vender at the Minneapolis Farmers market. Built adjacent to the ruins of an old asphalt shingle manufacturing building that burned down in the 1970's. Great care was taken to maintain the integrity of the site and to not compromise the adjacent structure. The building required a complete rebuilding, maintaining only the basic shell. The building blends in seamlessly with the adjacent property and was a catalyst to the revitalization of Minneapolis' Market District.
Hi Fi Sound
Minneapolis, MN
Developed in 2006, the Hi Fi Sound Building was a former cold storage building for a fruit vender at the Minneapolis Farmers market. Built on the ruins of a asphalt shingle manufacturing building that burned down in the 1970's. The site was a complicated redevelopment faced with environmental challenges, along with buried ruins. With the complications came the salvage of beauty. A number of the old relics of the former building were retained and stand as a testament to what was once there. The crowning feature of the development is a 15 foot sculpture by world renown artist Zoran Mojsilov.
Station 28
Minneapolis, MN
Fire Station 28 was built in 1914 in the Linden Hills neighborhood of Minneapolis. The station was the second-to-last station originally built by the city. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. Urban Anthology represented the property owner in the leasing of the building to D'Amico & Sons Restaurant.
Union Depot
Saint Paul, MN
The Saint Paul Union Depot dates back to 1881. During its heyday, the St. Paul depot had nine railroads operating out of the station. Today the revitalized depot has been transformed into a multimodal transit hub with regional and national significance. Urban Anthology represented the property owner in the leasing of the retail space to Christo's Restaurant.
3000 Hennepin

3000 Hennepin is the premier commercial property on the coveted intersection of Hennepin and Lake in Uptown Minneapolis. The award winning building was custom designed for the Gap as their flagship retail store in the Twin Cities. Urban Anthology represented the property owner in leasing the building to Victoria's Secret for their flagship store in the Twin Cities.
Mozaic
Minneapolis, MN
Located in the heart of Uptown Minneapolis, Mozaic is a mixed use urban development with 65,000 square feet of Class A office space, 11,000 square feet of retail space, a six-story 434 space parking ramp, and a half acre sculpture park. Urban Anthology represented the property owner in the leasing of the retail space to Origami Japanese Restaurant and Bar Louie.

Apple

Developed in 2010, The Apple Store building was one of the most awarded real estate developments in Minnesota. Winner of both the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors and the Minnesota Shopping Center Association project of the year.
There are very few developments and retailers that have the potential to transform a commercial area. The Apple Store building was one of them. Its unique design incorporates a 75 foot skylight, roof top green roof, and second story outdoor patio. Additionally it is the only Apple Store in the state to have a full floor dedicated towards business to business services.
It stands as a glass jewel in Uptown Minneapolis and is a catalyst to attracting additional retailers wanting to be in its presence.
